Bayar Kopi Starbucks Pakai BlackBerry dan iPhone Starbucks-BB

Jakarta - Di Amerika Serikat (AS), membayar kopi Starbucks dengan memanfaatkan handset BlackBerry dan iPhone akan lazim dilakukan. Kebiasaan ini juga segera merambah Eropa dan Asia dan menjadi sebuah tren baru.

Seperti dikutip detikINET dari Hot Hardware, Jumat (21/1/2011), Visa dan Starbucks kini melakukan kerjasama dalam metode pembayaran.

Untuk itu Starbucks memperkenalkan aplikasi mobile bagi pengguna BlackBerry, iPhone, serta iPod Touch. Aplikasi tersebut kini sudah bisa digunakan di 6.800 kedai Starcbucks di seluruh AS.

Untuk memakainya, pengguna cukup mengunduh aplikasi dan mengisi akun Starbucks. Pada saat membayar minuman, pengguna cukup melakukan barcode scanner di masing-masing kedai.

Sayangnya belum diketahui apakah kedepannya Starbucks bakal membuat aplikasi bagi Android, Windows Phone 7, atau Symbian.
